Not gonna lie, I am moderately interested to try Luke's simultaneous turn suggestion sometime. It'd take half as long (as a _correctly_ played game, that is - which is already 3 times faster than a house rule game) and remove the massive first player advantage at the same time.
Not that I wouldn't rather bust out some Dominion, Thunderstone, Tichu, or eve Race, but... :)

Ok, I'm somewhat curious to hear the details. My future sister in law gave me a copy of Denveropoly for Christmas (she thought it might be a game I didn't have) and I may have to play it sometime..

Shipyard at 6, then?
James kindly gave me extra bags last time we played, so setup should be fairly quick this time. I don't think Shipyard is going to be one of my favorite games, but I do enjoy it and I do want to play it a few more times  Probably a solid 8.
